Band Info . . .

This year we have a blues gumbo going on;  A little bit of everything thrown into the pot.  We've got your 2008 Blues Music Award nominees for Best New Band, The Insomniacs. They will hopefully be returning from Memphis with a brand new "Handy Award" in tow.   

Bringing up some zydeco blues (and throwin' down the Mardi Gras beads) all the way from Lafayette, Louisiana is Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band (they are also playing the kick-off party Friday May 9th at Jackson's in Richland!!).  

With his smoke'n guitar in hand, Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers will send you screamin' for more rock'n blues from the first note until the last strum of that guitar, Jimmy KNOWS how to put on a show!  Straight up Chicago blues is where it's at, handed to you from the Tri-Cities' own Black Cat Bone Blues Band.   If you want to kick back and appreciate where it all came from, then you will dig the acoustic delta blues presented to you by Son Jack Jr.  For those of you who've just got to hear the smooth harmonica blues then you will be groovin' on Kim Field and the Mighty Titans of Tone. 

Finally, for those of you who just can't sit still and what to get up and dance the night away, then you will be swingin' with Tim Casey and the Bluescatswho will be bringing their own party with them as they will feature the Eastside Swing Cats Dancers! 

Join us from Noon until 11pm on Saurday May 10th at the Benton County Fairgrounds.  Of course as always there will be wonderful food, beer, wine, cigars, great art and international clothing for you to enjoy as well.
